Contract Position - 7 Months - Start Date: September 21, 2009
Mandatory Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years experience in data integration, migration and ETL for large-scale enterprise systems.
Data Analysis, mining, cleansing and ETL techniques.
RDBMS design and development using Oracle and MS SQL Server 2005.
Analyzing, mapping, transforming, and transferring data between varieties of data formats etc.
Data analysis, source system analysis, data mapping, data matching and cleansing.
Data warehousing design, contributing to the overall integration solution design.
Troubleshooting problems and making suggestions for improved performance tuning and system integrity.
Working with large databases and performance tuning techniques.
Proficient with SQL and batch scripting.
Strong team player, ability to work on independent assignments with minimal supervision.
Ability to produce technical documentation.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
Desirable Experience:
Hardware security modules and database encryption experience strongly desired.
Experienced with formal SDLCs and business analysis methodologies; Working knowledge of business analysis documentation standards.
A Masters degree in Computer Science, or Mathematics is desired.
Responsibilities:
Work with the project management team, technical team, and business unit during requirements analysis to determine data messaging requirements.
Data transformation, data analysis, data mining and cleansing
Create tables, population scripts, and insertion triggers
Assist in testing efforts, Perform unit testing and fixes during testing process.
Assist the support team during deployment.
Other tasks related to the development effort.
Deliverables:
1. All documentation regarding system design
2. Data analysis, data mining reports
3. Input and output record layouts, Mapping Specification, Mapping
4. Tables, population scripts, and insertion triggers.
5. Location of source and target, File/table sizing and volume information
6. Test Plan, Performance Test Plan
7. Use cases and misuse cases for handoff to QA team
